third Sunday of Eastertide

Celebrating the Resurrection

Rev. Benjamin Van Zetten Bruins will be preaching at Trinity on May 8.
“Celebrating the Resurrection”
The widows wailing at Tabitha’s funeral recognize that life can be hard and cruel, but their sorrow is interrupted by the resurrection. How can we live a way that embraces the reality of troubles in this world while keeping our hearts open to resurrection? Perhaps the power we need to endure comes when we celebrate the shafts of resurrection light that continue to break into this world.
