“Woven Through: Jesus as Temple”

Woven Through: Jesus as Temple

John 2:13-22 & Ezra 3:8-13

The temple was meant to be a symbol that mirrored the wider world and reminded God’s people that God’s presence is everywhere. Jesus joins a long line of prophets who find the temple clouding the vision of God’s presence that it was supposed to reveal. So, Jesus cleanses the temple and reveals that the purpose of the temple is fully realized in Jesus’ body. Jesus is the temple!

Presbyterian Pastor/Theologian Edmund Clowney teaches about the temple.

Tim Alberta writes about how a couple of Michigan churches have navigated these days of political polarization.

She especially would like someone from Trinity who can help set up, teardown, and move equipment on Wednesdays and Saturdays (mid January through early April). Email to volunteer.
